Austrian Airlines Fokker 100

An Austrian Airlines flight from Milan Malpensa Airport to Vienna with 54 passengers aboard made an emergency landing in Graz today because of faulty flight deck instrumentation.

Austrian Airlines spokesman Michael Braun said the flight deck vibration gauge had lit up despite the flight being calm and not encountering any turbulence. Both engines of the Fokker 100 aircraft had been functioning properly.

The crew decided to make an emergency landing at Graz Thalerhof airport at around 9am.

Passengers disembarked and flew on to Vienna on another aircraft.
